Dated Images from 1913

I figured out how to do a comprehensive search by year of the Athenaeum image data base. Images from there are designated. I'm also going to list museums that have artworks in parentheses when that information is available from now on.

If I’m violating your interests or copyright, please contact me with a message. I will either delete the image or, preferably, attribute it to you (and add a link to your site as well). There are several images of period dresses worn recently. I do not have a record of where I found them. Sources, once known will be identified or the images will be removed, if needed.

 If there is something amiss, such as mis-identification or other errors, please send me a note so I can correct the problem. This has already been done several times and corrections made.

I often cannot list the date and/or artist and/or subject because I don’t know it. Please advise me if you know of the date, artist, or subject for an image when I don’t list that information. I’ll add the information you provide and attribute the source of the information to you.

1913 (probable year) Queen Mary There is another, fuzzier picture of her taken in 1913 and I matched the placements of the jewels in that picture and this one to give a probable date.
